At PC Gamer Weekender we want you to feel safe and be safe, therefore we operate the following Safety and Security Policy. The most important thing to remember is that is someone or something makes you feel uncomfortable over the course of the weekend, no matter how minor it may seem, you can report it to us.
Harassment of any kind to anybody, including event participants and staff will not be tolerated at the PC Gamer Weekender and anyone found violating the policy will be removed from the event without refund.
- Offensive verbal comments or attitudes related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, following
- Harassment by photographing or recording
- Sustained disruption of the event
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
Anyone asked to stop any behaviour deemed harassing is expected to comply and stop immediately.
Please note that at The PC Gamer Weekender, neither ignorance nor intoxication is viewed as an excuse for any unacceptable behaviour.
If you feel that anyone is engaging in harassing behaviour towards you, the PC Gamer Weekender team will take any action they deem appropriate, including warning and if necessary removing the offender from the event (without refund). If you feel that you are being harassed, notice any behaviour that you believe is harassment towards another attendee or have any other concerns at all, please contact a member of the PC Gamer Weekender team in the organisers office at the event as soon as possible.
The PC Gamer Weekender team will be happy to help attendees contact venue security or local law enforcement if necessary, they will also do everything to ensure that those experiencing harassment feel safe for the duration of the event.
Whilst we hope that the PC Gamer Weekender will offer an environment in which you feel comfortable to voice concerns as and when they happen, if you feel after the event that you wish to inform us of past harassment or incidents which made you uncomfortable during the weekend please do not hesitate to contact us.
