Philipp’s passion for PC Gaming comes from his exposure to the early classics from a young age. He grew up in a family that continuously embraced new technologies. He had access to multiple generations of PCs before he even started primary school in Germany. It was only natural for him to join the industry as a professional. By the time he completed high school he already wanted to become a software producer. This passion and drive made him join one of the foremost German developers in 2013.
Indeed, Philipp joined Blue Byte Studio Düsseldorf as an Associate Producer shortly after completing his Master’s Degree in Media Computer Science. He tapped into his academic education and passion and took responsibility for managing all production aspects around developing the Engine, Tools and Online Architecture of one of Blue Byte’s core brands at the time.
Answering the call to lead the production efforts on a PC Co-Development project, Philipp has seized the opportunity to bring Blue Byte’s expertise to the production of For Honor. Being a natural leader, his principles of loyalty, compassion and protection ethics align perfectly with that of the game’s Knight Faction.
