Meet the team

Samuel RobertsSamuel began PC gaming in the early '90s and as such has a fondness for immersive sims, RPGs and piloting spaceships from Star Wars. Far from a relic of a bygone era, however, he is currently enjoying the likes of FTL, Titanfall and Hearthstone, with a range of preferences he would describe as 'eclectic' merely because no-one else will. Samuel is saving Dark Souls for the day he retires.

You can follow Samuel on Twitter at @SamuelWRoberts.

Phil SavagePhil has been PC gaming since the '90s, when, being a child, he had the time to complete games like Baldur's Gate and Little Big Adventure 2. Ostensibly now an adult, his Steam backlog would take roughly three lifetimes to complete. Phil's been writing for PC Gamer since 2011. As editor, he's in charge of filling the magazine with features, reviews, and Dragon Age 2 references.

Follow Phil on Twitter: @Octaeder.

  • Tom Senior‚ÄčTom stopped being a productive human being when he realised that the beige box under his desk could play Alpha Centauri. After Deus Ex and Diablo 2 he realised he was cursed to play amazing PC games forever. He started writing about them for PC Gamer about seven years ago, and is now UK web ed.

He's on Twitter, if you're into that sort of thing: @PCGLudo.

Alex's gaming career ended when her Sims house burned down when she was 10, so Alexdon't expect her to know anything about the latest version of World of Warcraft.

Luckily her marketing skills are better than her gaming prowess, which is what she is here for at the PC Gamer Weekender - getting the word out about the event to all the right people.

You never know, she might get super into gaming and beat you all in a tournament...

Please email Alex (alex.druce@futurenet.com) if you have any PR and partnership opportunities for PC Gamer Weekender

When it comes to launching great new events, Jonny is the "Big Dog".

As head of events at Future Publishing he has a track record of turning reader's passions into exceptional events.  In 2014 his team launched the epic Photography Show at Birmingham NEC, which has grown to become one of the best-rated events in the UK for visitor experience.

Jonny has overall responsibility for the success of the PC Gamer Weekender: a big task, in safe hands.

But it's not all good - he is thinking about getting a cat.

Kevin StoddartKevin is a man.  An actual human man.  Or this is what he'll have us believe.

Please contact Kevin if you would like to know more about showcasing your game or brand at the PC Gamer Weekender.
